Camira was tied to the sanctuary fence and left without food or water for many hours. By the time she was discovered her chain had tangled around a bush and she was about to go over a fence, she would have hung herself. She is very timid and is learning to trust us. Camira enjoys her long morning walks. One of Camira's sponsors is Michelle Anthony, who, on reading of her plight on this site, flew from the USA to visit her. Thanks to the time Michelle (Tonee) spent with Camira, she is much more outgoing.
Camira is housed with Mr Echo, one of the pups born last July.
